I guess I will briefly introduce myself. I’m Kate, I’m a writer and a student, and more importantly I’m a person - like you, like them, like everyone. One might presume that would lessen my individuality - that making this observation somehow makes me no more than one part of the much larger crowd.
Yet isn’t that just it? Isn’t it fascinating that we are both intricately and vastly complex on an individual level and a cumulative one? That somehow together and apart we are fascinating beings part of a fascinating experience?
The exploration of these ideas is what drew me to SoulPancake and is what has really motivated and inspired me to go through each of the 180 questions posed in the new SoulPancake book by Rainn Wilson, Devon Gundry, Golriz Lucina, and Shabnam Mogharabi, Chew on Life’s Big Questions.
My goal is to do in-depth thought exploration regarding each of the questions posed throughout the book. This means each one will have a post dedicated to it. My hope is also to tackle these questions regularly enough to maintain a consistent, focused path toward understanding and growth while also maintaining enough space between posts so that both readers and myself can really reflect on these important and meaningful questions.
I hope you enjoy reading and most importantly I hope we can be in this together! I’m not sure what I’ll find, or what you will find, but I know that what means the most is that we are searching at all.
Tune in for the next upcoming post examining the first of many questions:
How do you determine truth?
